Life among the Unemployed

Unemployment by Marvins_Dad I have to say the on-again-off-again lifestyle wouldn’t be so bad if I were financially safe and secure, and I would think nothing of being out of work. Being creative about making even a small bit of cash is at best “interesting.” I have lived in various wealth categories:...

There are many different avenues one can pursue and none more important than learning about oneself. It is normal to switch and change jobs if one isn’t getting what they need from a current position. A lot of emphases has been in recent times about finding passion. Passion can mean different things to different people. One can mean a general contentment and happiness of life. Some take it to mean pride of work and of self, some think it is the spirit’s purpose on earth or a calling to do something spacific. The later one can lead to disappointment as it eludes to one need to find something outside of themselves for fulfillment. Maybe passion isn’t a “job” but contribution to the world, which could mean a job but could also mean being a conscious loving being. The universe has a way of teaching each of us something all the time. Most of us are unconscious to that idea. Sometimes you have to go through crappy jobs to learn from them to be able to handle what God sends your way in the future. But Timing is everything! This means when you are ready and your light is on. Some people throughout life never turn their light on. This can be due to fear, other peoples expectations, being tired, hung up on past results, being lazy (I hate to say it but some are, most have underling reasons for laziness though, lack of confidence and lack of self-love or acknowledging God’s love.) Not doing the work as uncomfortable as it may be to change. Not shining your light in the world is why most people don’t feel fulfilled. Finding a passion or purpose eases when we grow and acknowledge universal laws and our own inner vibration, love, positive thought and action. Willingness to adapt will get you to joy faster as we become less fearful and more confident in the self and in the God/Universe. We all need to lighten up on the whole passion idea and find out who each of us REALLY is. Gratitude, self acceptance=self love (for the good and the not so good parts of oneself), faith in life and yourself all add up to a nice recipe. Joy, pride, contentment, contribution, fellowship and a host of adjectives that describe states of being that one should take with them no matter where they go and can lead to the passion or purpose their life.

Love and Hugs,

Jennifer
